ABC BASIC Compiler

I have written a multi-tasking application using the ABC BASIC compiler (Acorn C/C++ CD version 5.08) and would like to know whether it runs on the Beagleboard. I have converted it to run on the Iyonix (since 2002) and on the A9home (since 2005, provided that the Draw module bug is overcome using CC GDraw via !SpecialFX) as well as (Yuk!) converting it to work under Windoze. It can be downloaded from the URL http://www.svrsig.org.uk/software/SigBoxRisc.htm and I would be grateful if someone could try it (or tell me that the ABC compiler is not 32bit safe for ARM 8). |

Many thanks – it does run with alignment exceptions on or off (Beagleboard version C3) including sound (as advised by private e-mail). That is not to say that there are no bugs in it, just the same ones as on Iyonix, RiscPC etc. (!). Looks like the ABC compiler is Beagleboard safe. |
