ROOL fora: How to reference a particular post?

I can see how to reference a particular forum and a particular thread, but how does one get hold of the posting number? Others know how to do it, leading to results such as:

but where is that post number visible?

(I didn’t realise that a reference would be recognised as such inside pre tags, so the above is rendered as far more text than I put in. Now I don’t know how to reduce it to just the text I wanted. Sorry.)
