Do I need to reformat?

I just updated the ROM image for my BIK for the first time ever. (I got it ready installed as a xmas present.)

I have read that it is adviceable to reformat the hard disc/stick/whatever due to a bug that crept in SCSI during development.

As the BIK is more or less the only USB-able hardware here, I would like to avoid it, if possible.

My old ROM image has a date stamp of 13 Nov 2010. Am I on the save side?

AFAIK, all should be OK… unless anything else sinister has crept in since. Personally, I’ve had no problems with file transfer/access using the latest ROM, but then I’ve not specifically tried any large writes.
