NVRAM addresses

Hi I’m looking in sources for a file that will tell me the usage (meanings) and locations of the 240 bytes in the IOMD hardware.

Also I’m looking for the historic 3.5 onwards data, if it’s file location has moved since HALification.

I’ve had a quick scan of the HW/NVRAM folder without any luck, so any pointers would be appreciated.

The file you’re looking for is Sources.Programmer.HdrSrc.hdr.CMOS. AFAIK that file has been used since the dawn of time, but since this is a special cut-down version of HdrSrc we don’t have any full history for how it’s changed over the years. But in terms of current RISC OS 5 machines (Iyonix, BB, IOMD) it should be 100% correct, since all three use the same CMOS layout.

Cheers, that was what I was looking for. A quick check with actual ROMs says the value I was looking for hasn’t moved from 3.50 to 6.06 or 5.17, which is nice :D
