USB->SATA adapters that work

Just testing a Kingston 64Gb SSD, and it’s giving me a right load of trouble on write operations (using its
supplied USB adapter). Read operations (both filecore and FAT32) seem fine, but trying to reliably write
to the thing seems problematical. However, I have a working (sealed) USB hard drive that doesn’t seem to
suffer such problems.

So, it could be the SSD that’s the problem, or it could be the supplied USB dock. The cheapest solution
would be to hook up to a “known good” USB→SATA adapter/dock thingy. Does anyone have a link to one?
(Preferably a “branded” one, so that we can bulk buy if they work well for the future).

Thanks – that’s the kind of thing, but am hoping for less than 22ukp a pop – could get expensive to bundle with machines! I seem to recall them selling for less than a tenner normally, but it’s a case of finding one that is known to be RISC OS 5 safe.

I have a Transcend StoreJet 2.5" SATA that I’ll soon be testing. I’ll let you know how it goes. Not that they’re really cheap, but I’ve seen them at about 15 UKP.
