Does ROOL support the OTG port on BB C3?

Hi folks, I have obtained a Beagleboard C3 and I’m ready to try RiscOS on it. Unfortunately this particular BB has a dead USB host socket. This causes no problems with Angstrom as I just use the OTG port with a host cable. Before I make myself crazy by trying and failing, can someone tell me if it is possible to set up and use RiscOS using only the OTG port? Thanks! |

It should work, but there are a few issues with the driver that I need to resolve. I’m actually working on a partial rewrite of the driver at the moment, so hopefully that will solve the main issues that people have been having. |

Hi all, I possibly have a related issue. I can boot all the way to: RISC OS 128MB Where it stays stuck, keyboard does not respond. Keyboard & mouse are fine in Angstrom… BB is powered with its own 5V connector and kb/mouse are connected via powered USB hub attached with a OTG mini-A to A connector. Grateful for any thoughts/suggestions, am dieing to see RISCOS boot on a physical machine for the first time in 20 years!! |

Hi, But after installing this older version: Keyboard and mouse now work as expected. Now I can boot to the desktop. |

I can now confirm the the OTG port does indeed work on my Beagleboard C3 simply using the instructions in various posts on the forum. Nice! |
