Vonets VAP11G and !Store

I have a Raspberry Pi 2 with RISCOS.
That works nice.
I wanted to use Wifi and bought a Vonets VAP11G ethernet – Wifi bridge.
I can use that with netsurf for internet and I have moonfish NFS server with an connection to my iMac so i can copy files to my iMac.
Even VNC server is working with my iMac as client.

But !!
!Store doesn’t work! !Store can’t contact the server.
On my other RISCOSpi with an ethernet cable connection it works fine.

The is something weird going on. When i go back on my RPi 2 to a cable connection I have to wait a long time before !Store works again.

If it’s the same issue I reported last year, either the DNS servers or gateway aren’t being set by DHCPexecute. Try clearing out all settings on your IP config, or force them all and avoid the use of DHCP.

Can you do that when you have other machines on the network (Macs and PCs) that are using DHCP?

Yes. Configure the DHCP server (usually the router) to not hand out a specific IP address (ie. ensure that that address is not in the DHCP pool), then manually configure that address on the client (in this case the Vonets device).

Ah, okay. I’ll see if I can find out how to configure the DHCP server! :-) (Or get Son to do it when he visits in a month’s time…)
