Any way to read 2 mouse inputs or choose between them?

Didn’t used to be possible, but wondering if anything has changed in more recent RO builds? Being able to choose between two different mouse data streams would be most pertinent to game code, but may have other uses too. |

Good idea. On my Lapdock, the fact to have an USB mouse + the internal mouse sometimes crash the OS. |

An idea like this, if extended to the keyboard too, would give an interesting way of working collaboratively. i.e multiple users working on the same computer and desktop, but able to work in different documents simultaneously. |

Yes, this would be a very interesting development. I like this idea a lot. |

Uh, wouldn’t that break the concept of “input focus”? If anybody is going to tweak the keyboard, could I please ask for the keyboard handler to raise a service call for unknown keys? My keyboard has various keys that are not known to RISC OS. While the keyboard handler could be modified to pass on key codes, surely it would be more future proof to have a service call. If claimed, a key code can be returned (key code zero to mean claimed and something else dealt with it), unclaimed means unknown and discard. This way third party add ons can deal with stuff like power, standby, etc. |

Quite – but at least it’s not as bad this nonsense |
