While browsing through the current tickets I saw that However I can’t find the C source in CVS. Does anyone If it is lost would it be legal to reverse engineer Regards, |

There’s a binary version here, but I’ve got no idea where the source is.
Judging by the help file it was written by Paul LeBeau of 4Mation, so it might be worth trying to track him down to get his blessing. If you’re lucky he might even have the source code still! |

It is probably also worth pointing out that the Iyonix and ARMini both replaced MineHunt with the (arguably superior) FlagDay program by Richard Hallas. I think the version he sent me included source, although I can’t swear to that – it was about 4-5 months ago! |

Thanks Jeffrey and Andrew. There seems little point in pursuing MineHunt. It would be nice if FlagDay could replace it in the sources, rather than hanging on to something that needs overhauling, but that is down to the folks at ROOL and if Richard Hallas would allow it. |

FlagDay is different, but MineHunt does have some superior features. The one I most miss is shift-clicking on a number which reveals all unflagged cells around the number. This considerably speeds up playing the game. I also miss the MineHunt sounds and the annoying comments in the Australian accent! |
