Pluto on the BB

Has anyone had any success getting Pluto to run on the BB? I have what I think is the latest version, 3.04e, but with or without AE on, it crashes with Abort on Data Transfer at (a changing address). Oddly the demo version seems to run ok with AE off. I know it’s (mostly?) written in C, as JD recompiled it to be 32bit compatible, so maybe we need to contact him and get him to recompile again for BB. |

I just asked the same question on the ARMini Mailing List! :-) I get an “abort on data transfer” here with AE on, and an “undefined instruction” with AE off. I just love the way Pluto does things, but I’m seriously considering shifting over to MPro. Just a bit worried about the “steep learning curve” I’ve seen people talk about elsewhere. Do you have a copy of the demo, then, as JD sent me the full version yesterday, I think? |

hehe, snap! I’ve been going to post about it on here for a while but never got round to doing it. Not sure when/where I got the demo, but yes, the demo seems to run with AE off. I’ve not really fully put it through it’s paces though. If you’re in touch with JD, maybe he might be persuaded to recompile to make it fully BB friendly? If it’s just C/C++ then it should be relatively straight forward to do, I believe. Point him to the forum here if he needs any help in getting it working or testing it. |
