Can anyone please recommend a wireless optical mouse that is compatible with RISC OS on the BeagleBoard xm? Cheers. |

I have used Logitech mice for years and years and years. The one I am using with my armini is one I just bought from Maplins – it says M510 on it. |

The Logitech one sounds nice indeed. Never got the wireless Microsoft mouse to speak to my BBxM and the current cable rodent is a bit nasty. As it mentions five buttons I reckon only three of them work under RISC OS? |

Have you tried !HID? http://www.xat.nl/en/riscos/sw/usb/hid/index.htm Depending on your mouse it might allow you to use the other buttons… |

AIU !HID requires AE off, not an otion for me I’m afraid. |

This thread prompted me to try the old Logitech wireless that’s normally attached to my RISC PC. Worked perfectly. That triggered the thought of trying a CyKey. BB responds but some letters get shifted to numbers. A bit surprised it works at all. |

My Logitech M510 wireless mouse arrived today. I had tried a couple of Microsoft wireless mice before, none of those worked :( |

Just wanted to add that even without having to resort to !HID the thumb operated button #4 can be used as menu button. Very nice and easier to press than the scroll wheel which of course also works. Sideways scrolling also operational, extremly pleased with this Logitech mouse! |
