Can someone point me in the direction of a BB happy FTP client? I have tried FTPc v1.44 but that gives a “Task not known” error and exits immediately. Thanks in advance. |

I wonder if R-Comp’s SiteMaster would be suitable? I don’t see a 30 day trial, but I’ve dealt with them before and they can be good about letting you try stuff out. FTPc works with Alignment Exceptions off. There’s a new version FTPc 1.48 available from R-Comp which fixes these issues. Apparently it can also be found on a4com’s FTP server. |

!FTPc v1.48 works on the BeagleBoard. !FTPc has recently been updated by R-Comp. I’m not sure if it’s available to people without an ARMini or without joining the ARMini software support scheme. If you drop R-Comp an Email, they will be able to advise you better. |

Yes, earlier versions could corrupt data (although they seemed to work), so be careful. The version we have is currently a “test” build, not an official build, which is why it is only currently on the ARMini users / BB Supprt Scheme site, but I believe we’ll make it official soon. Probably after the holidays. I have sent a copy to Colin as well. It is also available as part of NetFetch 3.63, which is a free update for anyone with 3.5 or later (basically last 3 years). |
