SecureSockets Versions

After faffing around looking for Secure for FTPc (yes I got the new release that works without) I realised my copy of Hermes has two copies, Secure & SecureG. Anyone know what the difference is? |

I’ll raise that one, Hermes 2.56c has three Secure modules here. See Secure 1.01 is 26bit, Secure32 1.03 is a 32bit build requiring the Castle 32bit CLib and SecureG 1.04 is compiled with StubsG. |

Ah, thanks. I’ve extracted Secure from a copy of DialUp for which Andrew kindly updated Hermes some time back. The versions of Secure I have are both 1.04 so that should be OK. |

Yes, the reason 1.01 is still around is that we found in testing there were some oddities with 1.04 which meant for 26bit users, the original release still had its uses. We’re hoping to do a larger update in due course. |
