I'd like to help re-design riscos icons and perhaps improve riscOs UX. Where do I start?

Of course such a thing is possible, but it goes back to my earlier assertion. It’s a kludge designed to provide such functionality with the restricted hardware of yesteryear. |

PS: I have barely played with MacOS, but how the hell did anybody get anything done with a one button mouse? And one that’s such a dreadful shape, too. |

Correct. But it’s true that the current themes are a bit old now. That’s the word every one tell me: “looks old”. And I good idea will be to have two themes: 1 dark, 1 white. The perfect thing would be adaptive theme, as on old Fedora. Something that becomes darker, hour by hour. Perhaps a bit too much. Another idea would be to authorize some applications to switch from white to dark mode (a video player for example). |

I find the very idea of a mouse ludicrous. Okay if better things didn’t exist, but they do. A Marconi Trackball (with three buttons…) was always better; and a trackpad is better still (although I do wish it had three buttons as well – and would work with the Pi…) |

But does that result in a better UX? :-) https://www.theregister.co.uk/2017/09/05/flat_uis_designs_are_22_per_cent_slower_official/ |

Do you enjoy scoring cheap points or something, Rick? 8~) Or taking pot shots at easy targets? |
