pi-top V2 not yet RISC OS compatible

The new pi-top V2 uses a different API to monitor the battery, turn power off and adjust the screen. We’ve asked pi-top for the necessary information but they never supplied it for the original pi-top, so I’m not holding my breath. (A user reverse engineered it enabling us to provide RISC OS support) There is a github page that has links to what seems to be the relevant Linux code but it 404! |

How can i find out, if it is a Pi-Top V2, or earlyer? |

On the V1 the touchpad is to the right of the keyboard. Also the pi installed to the right. |

Whereas I was going for… If it’s a v1, you need one of these and if you have a v2 there’ll be nowhere to put it! ;-) |
