Which RISC OS machine do you use most?

That’s the question we’ve posed over on the ROOL Facebook page – have a look if you’ve got a couple of minutes! :) |

uhm I don’t do FB, why should? For the record though: BB-xM on a daily basis, sometimes the A4k |

That page doesn’t work on any browsers I have on my Iyonix, which is the machine I use most at home. This page works: |

Nor can I. Iyo 5.18, NetSurf r13571. |

The poll will be using javascript at least. Try Firefox if you have a version that runs! |

Clearly this poll was not aimed at RISC OS users :-) |

Well, we also have a wiki which can’t be edited by RISC OS users, so ROOL don’t seem to care all that much… |

Also not on FB so I cannot participate in the poll. For the record I use an Iyonix most often at the moment. |

It’s a shame that the poll doesn’t work on m.facebook.com but I reckon 90% of RISC OS users have access to a capable browser nowadays… Anyway, it’s just a bit of fun – we have a Facebook page and I’m making use of it. If you can’t take part in the poll, you’re not missing out on too much. :) |

Even with a ‘capable browser’ (Firefox v11) clicking on my choice seems to do nothing except hightlight it! No real clues how to vote! Talk about user unfriendly. Not impressed. And another vote lost. |

This is FF 11 on Linux, Mac or Windows then? Because that’s the version I used to create the poll and cast my vote.
It’s a pop-up window with a set of radio icons. It’s hard to see how it could be much simpler! I’m guessing you have an add-on which is breaking the JavaScript on the page. You can hardly blame that on the design of the poll… |

Anyway, the ROOL Facebook page is just that – a ROOL page on Facebook for Facebook users who are interested in ROOL. If you’re not in that demographic, you don’t need to worry about it! |

It was FF 11 on Windows. And Explorer 8 is exactly the same! The radio icons ‘work’ but that is all that happens. |

That wouldn’t surprise me. |
