Now that you have written that image to the SD card, can you read the SD card in Windows? |

Tried but the screen remain black and no activity led on the beagleboard only D5 remain light on. |

Try booting the Beagleboard without the USB stick plugged in. Also what revision of the Beagleboard-xM are you using? |

With only the SD on i have the same D5 on and nothing happens. |

Okay, as you have the same revision as me, I’ve made a backup of my SD card and uploaded it for you. |

Great it starts,but then it say waitng for boot drive to be ready,press escape to cancel. and nothing continue to load. |

Great! This means your SD card is working now! However, onto the next stage!! You need start at the section “Putting the HardDisc4 image onto a USB drive” |

i have just made an usb stick with hardisk4 and installhd, when i click over :0 icon i get a loading cursor but no hard disk folder. |

i dont find any SCSI folder or disk on desktop i have only Apps and :0 that it say it’s empty. |

Yes Rob with the usb stick plugged. The usb stick is fat formatted with inside The Hardisk4 self extracting from the risc os open site and the installhd from the Beagle Rom 5.19 package. |

You can’t (yet) boot from a FAT-formatted USB stick. It needs to be FileCore formatted. This is what you should be getting from ROOL when your order arrives. |

Cheers Steve, I don’t think Matteo can get his Beagleboard to recognise any USB sticks at the moment. |
