The “2560×1440” thread seems to have vanished. https://www.riscosopen.org/forum/forums/5/topics/8967 Google has a cached copy from Dec 27. Maybe it was deleted accidentally during some spam cleanup? Anyway, I wanted to post a follow-up to my comment about potentially getting my RiscPC to drive an AOC Q2577PWQ at 1440p. It kind of works. The problem is that you need to tweak the horizontal timings quite a bit to keep MakeModes/VIDC happy, and then that confuses the monitor and it displays the image in the wrong aspect ratio. (And I still haven’t gotten round to doing a comparison between it and my Dell U2515H, in terms of how well the digital inputs cope with unusual screen modes) |
