Anyone can help me make boot my pandabord? |

You don’t write the ROM image using winimager. If you download the latest OMAP4 ROM image, you should be able to use !SDCreate to setup the card. (Now that you have RISC OS up and running!) |

I think that !SDCreate will set this up for you. |

Not works, i have used sdcreate under risc os with MLO and u-boot.bin from ubuntu 11.10 preinstalled armel desktop omap 4 and the rom from the risc os open files for omap 4. Formatted an usb stick in fat and installed installhd and hardiskinstall. Nothing orks only one led powered on. |

You could try downloading this. The zip file contains the files necessary to boot a Pandaboard ES. They should work with a Pandaboard too. |

Can you try running the PB_CPUdetect file. I’m not sure what speed the MLO file defaults to. If it’s lower than 1000MHz I should be able to update it so it runs at the fastest possible speed. |

I’m still installing, let me know how i have to run this file. |

You should see an “Edit post” link at the bottom of the box to the left of your posts. (But beware of being returned to the first page of the thread afterwards, although not relevant in this case!) |

In the ‘ThirdParty’ folder where you installed ‘!Boot’ there should be ‘!SparkFS’. Douible-click on this. An icon will appear on the iconbar. Drag and drop the zip file onto this icon. The zip file will open up. Just double-click on the file from there. |

Thanks. That means it defaults to the fastest speed. |

Doesn’t the ES run at up to 1.2GHz? |
Chris Gransden (337) 1207 posts |
It does. The clock speed is set by the MLO file. I included one for 1.2GHz in the zip file. |

OK – thanks (I don’t have one). |
