Revised Bounty Page - thoughts?

To demonstrate that RISC OS is being actively developed, but also to attract further bounty support, I came up with the following table that links each bounty to a higher level description:
While building the table, it occurred to me that there was a simpler way to achieve what I was thinking; a revised bounty page. The revision I’m proposing includes a headline section to help people understand what’s being worked on, supported by the bounty scheme. The proposal comes from what I see in the broader community, Twitter and Reddit groups; there’s a gap between what people know is happening, things they are interested in and potentially want to support, and the underway work. At the moment, the detail of individual bounties potentially only satisfies the technical audience. It captures the complex and interrelated nature of the work undertaken, but not what people are looking for in RISC OS. Therefore, I propose a bounty page that includes a section that links headlines to the bounties. |
