I and you need to change the reference to my ‘prize’ as it was awarded to Colin and Dave some time ago! I’ll try to remember to take down the old page. Apologies if my not having done so already causes confusion. However I may then add something new. :-) Jim |

Not to do with a bounty, but I’ll remind you that I have offered…
No bounties required. ;-) |

ABC ABC ABC :) Would be fun to get the same advanced graphics mode. Today, graphics with ABC are slow and limited to old modes. Other thing: floating point in hardware. Last one: same way to use library as in Basic, and perhaps a cut down version of EVAL. I compile a lot of things with ABC. For real bounties, I would say: better sound support on Panda (will be useful for OMAP5 too); ROS5 kit for old OS (ROS3 disc image with updated modules; decompress and go); Liberation (PCem/ARMovie); AMP mode (easy alternative to SMP); time limit for tasks (easy alternative to preemptive multithreading); Touch support (for future Pi LCD screen); USB Device mode; Filecore image mounting and management (useful for many uses); multihead support for Panda/Pi (as they both support two screens). |

Yes, been wanting this for years!
I’m still hoping for USB audio to be incorporated into the sound system. However it does seem weird to have 24bit hardware on boards like the Panda but not actually be able to get 24bit to it! Given ABC and people still using BASIC I also personally would love to see a sort of “son of TaskDraw”. i.e. a way of being able to run graphic interface programs in a window whilst allowing the programmer to dodge having to deal with the wimp polling, etc. Would make life a lot easier for those coming in via BASIC. And help those who would prefer to forget single-tasking. 8-] !GraphTask is nice as an idea. But it would be good to have an equivalent that can also handle various more modern draw and paint swis, and any mode. Jim |

I’m agree. A Wimp mode (for both interpreter and compiler) would be great. |

Sprow pointed out we missed an opportunity to match up to a total of £2015, given the year. Duly fixed! :) |
