Bounty: Flash plugin

A lot of the current bounties are a bit technical and hard for users to really get behind, so how about this for something that would be a big help to RISC OS web browsing – a Flash plugin. Now I know this has been discussed before, and some people said there was no point because it would be too slow, but: The sort of things I would like to see working are all those cinema/theatre booking sites that use Flash to display a plan so you can choose your seats. That does not need to be fast, not that it should be too taxing anyway. Is this a practical bounty to set up? |

This’d be great – but unfortunately I understand that it’d be rather costly to sort out the Adobe proprietary license. Hopefully that’s not the case after all! |

Isn’t that for the official version? Presumably porting Gnash or Lightspark would not have licensing issues. |

Yes, but the open source Flash clones are basically only useful for Flash applets written for them. |
