Unable to donate to bounties

To donate to bounties I have to log in; but, after clicking on the donate button, the page returned says:
The change you wanted was rejected.
Maybe you tried to change something you didn’t have access to.

I get this response with Netsurf, Oregano2, Firefox on RISC OS and Firefox on Linux. I have demonstrated this at a ROUGOL meeting and so I have witnesses. :-)
I have mentioned this problem before to the webmaster, but he claimed there was nothing wrong with the website.
So I can’t donate to the bounties.

Okay, was that a clever trick? Since I had no problems donating last time I thought I’d give it another try.
Here’s the result:

“Your donation was successful. Thanks for your support!”

Done under Opera on Linux. I’m not going to try NetSurf and Seamonkey too! :P

I don’t have Opera, but I have just tried with Chrome on my Wife’s Wintel computer (Windows 7) with the same result. I logged in and clicked on the Bounties tab at the top of the window and the same page was returned:

I can’t think what I am doing wrong.
Can others try with RISC OS browsers or Firefox or even Chrome?

I donated with Chrome (funnily enough to match Patric’s donation) and it worked fine. You should probably report this to webmaster@riscosopen.org but don’t expect us to have any time to investigate until after the London Show! :)

I reported this to webmaster@ricosopen.org before on 2/6/11, but I had said that I had only used Netsurf. Webmaster just said that there must be something wrong with my Netsurf.
Since then I have also tried with a later version of Netsurf (2.8) Oregano2, Firefox on RISC OS, Firefox on Linux and Chrome on Windows 7 (my Wife’s computer) always with the same result.
If there is time at the show, I could demonstrate the problem to you.
I had hoped to make my first donations to some of the bounties before the show so that I could face the ROOL folk and their programmers, who have done so much for the OS, with a good conscience. :-)

Webmaster has sorted it. I have made my donations.

Hi, taking this thread up again as being a “Bear of Very Little Brain” I couldn’t work out how one actually makes a donation — unless you can’t using Netsurf?

I log in and click on “Your Dontations” but the page says “No matching donations found” and a link back to All Bounties.

I’ve bought the 5.20 Collectors CD-Rom by way of substitute, that transaction worked no problem with Netsurf….

@Chris: presumably “Your Donations” lists details of donations you’ve already made. To make one I think you go to the bounty page to see the list of all available bounties, click on the one you wish to donate to to see its details page, then click the ‘Make a Donation’ button there.
