HDMI CEC Signal

Hi Guys,

My Brother has installed raspbmc on his Pi, and we were supprised to realise that the TV remote operated the software.

This is using the CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) feature of HDMI.

So instantly I thought this would be good for my music player.

Question is, does RISC OS support this feature, and if not any ideas on how to create support for it?

I have just found this, but not sure how much or even if it helpsas it’s for the “Pulse-Eight USB-CEC adapter” :

Alternatively http://www.cjemicros.co.uk/micros/individual/newprodpages/prodinfo.php?prodcode=VAR-REMKPDMS out of the box provides quite a few ‘remote’ features, and the use of extra software such as HID should give a lot more!
It has the benefit of being usable on Iyonix, A9home, USB Podules as well as the Pi!
