Not really a new port, but tools will be needed to support the pad, etc.

Confused as to whether it has a touchscreen – some report so, but that page doesn’t mention it.

No official page does mention it :)
Anyway, a joypad module (+ keyboard fall-back) + a battery module are already a lot of work.

I see it’s made of ‘Dark Materials’ :)
