RISC OS Pico is something that a reader will be able to Google and find if they see it mentioned in a forum post. “the ‘core only’ RISC OS build” is a term that could mean anything. If you mean RISC OS Pico, you should probably say RISC OS Pico, for the benefit of people stumbling across this thread in months/years to come.

No, it is quite clear. The “core only” build.
The “mini” version.
RISC OS nano.
The itty-bitty one.
Tiny-RISC OS.
Otherwise known as RISC OS Pico.

Look, if google actually wanted you to find stuff without having to view adverts and promoted links they would allow +"my search" -“porno” to work properly, like it used to do.

There’s nothing at all on the right hand side of Google results. Maybe ABP and NoScript are doing their jobs. A lot of sites are quicker, cleaner, and don’t waste time looking up dozens of domains for the bolt-on rubbish.
Just wish I could get this for the iPad¹ and mobile².

¹ I have wondered if it would be possible to fiddle with the Livebox’s firewall to drop connections to specific IP addresses, like say 173.194.34.39?³ ;-)

² There is a version of Firefox for Android. It is capable of making a dual core 1GHz phone about as fast and responsive as running Windows95 on the RiscPC’s x86 co-processor.

Yes, but it used to work in Google as well. It’s been broken for some time :(

I’ll be demonstrating the ‘core only’ RISC OS build [Edit: by which I mean the RISC OS Pico build] on a Raspberry Pi with a 3" LCD screen at the Bristol RISC OS User Group on Wednesday 14th May.
