It not works with the standard RC14. You need new firmware. I have send a link with a changed RC14 to Chris Hall. I try with my old B, B+ with DSI Screen and my Zero, works. |

No. I have only changed the firmware (start.elf, bootcode.bin, fixup.dat) direct in the image with IsoImager but not the ROM (RISCOS.IMG). I wrote new card(s) and try with the different boards. Works. |

This is directly contradicted in a post on another thread which says that the RC14 ROM image will not work with the latest firmware. There is a lot of potential confusion here. The ‘latest firmware’ is February 2015 for the latest NOOBS where RISC OS is loaded from the network, as it is for the RC14 SD card image. The ‘latest firmware’ when used with the words ‘RC14 ROM image’ can therefore be February 2015 (see above) or May 2015 (the firmware was updated then) or November 2015 (if you download Raspian, throw away Linux and just use the firmware provided with it in place of what is supplied with the RC14 SD card image. The November 2015 firmware (in Raik’s image sent to me privately) works with the RC14 SD card image and ROM. |

I have not try the Image with my RPi2. Is in a waterproof case. It works as it should and so never touch…
The November 2015 firmware in my Image ist the firmware you get if you made a update/upgrade with Rasbian to made the DSI screen working or the Zero complete support. I have do udate/upgrade in Raspian with both boards. After this the same firmware was in the boot partition. |

I came across this, which shows that it can be done: http://www.h-i-r.net/2015/12/raspberry-pi-zero-inside-lapdock-100.html |

I was at work, just stopped for a drink and had a look at the Pimoroni site on the off chance. Saw there was 32 left with adaptors and went for it. Put my details in fairly quickly, had card in my pocket. By the time I’d got confirmation it was down to 25. Then by the time I’d posted on here it was 12. The other 3 options were still listed as available. |

Back to this then, given that there have been some developments around using the Pi Zero in ‘Gadget Mode’ under Raspbian, could we access a Pi Zero in Ethernet mode from RISC OS using a USB to MicroUSB cable? If we ran a VNC or RDP server under Linux with a fixed IP address, could we access it to provide Linux In A Window? |

That would be a good way too to make a small cluster of Pi, only with a powered hub. |

Tried it on Windows and it made me realise that we’d probably need an EtherUSB driver for it. And, if we wanted to connect it to the internet, a method of bridging the connections? |

Had email from Pimoroni earlier. |
