How about the Th-1535 (and equivalents with smaller screens)? It could be interesting to get an SD image here and a logo here. What’s missing to get the port working on this? Just the display drivers? (And the touchscreen too, I suppose.) |

Had a look at the Technexion site, I think I was there before… The “Tsunami” board looks good, S-ATA and additionally to DVI-D/HDMI also VGA output would please a lot of users. However, the used CPU is just too weak compared to what we already have with the Beagle XM. The “Blizzard” board has the faster CPU option with more RAM, but apart from VGA and ethernet connected via local bus instead of USB, there is not much difference to a Beagle XM. Wasn’t there an upcoming single core 1.5 GHz OMAP4 variant from TI with better graphics and S-ATA? And if someone is bored, why not look at the new GlobalScale Plug offering, the “D2 plug”. If extremely bored, it would be a nice testbed for that new Bluetooth and WiFi stack… |

You mean the C6A816x you spotted? It might be available before the end of the year. But in this thread, I was really thinking more along the lines of off-the-shelf (almost plug-and-play) hardware which could be of iterest to people like this for easy deployment in projects outside the home user marketplace. |

Trevor, you are a lot better in remembering my postings than I am ;-) Yes, that is the SoC I was dimly remembering. |
