RC15 on very early R-Pi

I have created an SD card image of RC15 and the first R-Pi that I tried it on is a very early model B without any mounting holes. I think that this is v1.0. The R-Pi boots OK so it is obviously reading the FAT partition but it fails to acknowledge SDFS and reports that the disc drive is empty. |

Did you try with RC14? “drive empty” error is normally linked to a faulty SD card detector. A common issue on first Pi. |

Both RC14 and RC15 work on my revision 1 (0002) Pi, a model 1 B 256M with no mounting holes. Try pushing the SD card in a little more firmly. |

Nota: Linux does not read the switch state too. That’s why some faulty boards are considered as OK. |
