RK3288 initial rants

I haven’t gived up.. I am going to bring in ethernet now. The docs are good compared to the other parts.

Today I bought VirtualRPC-DL. I hope to be able to use it on my Surface when in our cottage next week. I don’t know if I have a monitor there, if I knew that I would bring my Pi2. Anyway I just copied over the sources using ShareFS. Not great speed but it builds with the emulator.

A small question.. I can’t get it to autoboot. It doesn’t select a filesystem… How can I enable this. I don’t have anyway of doing cmos.

Solved it.

And now it stopped working :(

I have fake cmos built in and the system comes up “configured” , *status shows the correct values.
But it doesn’t boot anymore, just exit to supervisor..

Another issue , I have a driver in HAL that doesnt return from memcpy. How can this happen? It works in the video driver.. I added asserts around the template and it seems right. I guess the target can be wrong as well.

My boardconfig struct was to big.

I am working on RTC. The boot stops right after all modules are inited , no access to RTC hal is being done during boot.

RTC UP! But it always sets to 2008.. I am setting YearLO… BAH

Never mind HAL works perfect, CMOS not.. :)
