RISC OS Open looking for volunteers

Do you want to help the Shared Source project?
We need you!
The RISC OS shared source project is being performed on a voluntary basis so ROOL would be very interested to hear from members of the community who would be willing to lend some of their time to this effort. Please send your details to @info@riscosopen.org@.
The specific skills we are looking for at the moment fall roughly into the following areas:
Web site
The ROOL site is built for the most part with Ruby On Rails. It includes a number of tightly integrated open source components such as Radiant CMS, Collaboa, Typo, RForum and I2 along with a custom applications. Our source repositories run under Subversion and CVS with Web interfaces based again around Ruby On Rails, as well as Perl and Python.
We’re interested in people who understand the technology and would like to help with developing, extending or fixing parts of the site, or general day to day maintenance.
Source submissions
Once the shared source components have been made available, we expect that submissions from the public will start to be fed back to ROOL. A process of moderation will be required to check that the changes are well documented, the sources still build and that the changes are not going to be detrimental to the community before the sources can be committed into the repository.
If you think you have the right skills and you are interested in helping with these activities, please send your details to @info@riscosopen.org@ and we will get back in touch with you for further information.
