We’re very pleased here at RISC OS Open to have received several great awards from this year’s annual RISC OS Awards, over at RISCOSitory.
This year, ROOL has won in the following categories:
For our NutPi product.
Best show of initiative, again for the NutPi.
For SDFS – from Piccolo Systems.
We’re very pleased to have such a positive result for the NutPi. It was a bold move and we’re extremely thankful to all of the contributing commercial software vendors who have allowed it to become the success it is. Hopefully, the NutPi has enriched the first experience of RISC OS for many people who are new to the platform.
Although SDFS wasn’t written by ROOL directly, it was written by our very own Ben Avison and we’re certainly thankful for his monolithic effort in short timescales to get this brand new filing system stack in place in time for the release of RISC OS for the Raspberry Pi. Congratulations, Ben!
Finally, we would also like to say a big thank you to everyone who voted. Here’s to the next twelve months of RISC OS successes!
Well done, ROOL. Your efforts are much appreciated.
