Bounty matching target success!

We are delighted to announce that we reached our £5,000 bounty matching target before the end of 2018! This saw some extremely generous donations from across the community into our open bounties. We have matched each of the donations, up to our total of £5,000.
As a special bonus, now we have closed-off the General bounty for 2018, we have re-distributed £3,000 across three of the open bounties (the fourth has already been snapped up!).
For those who are interested, the breakdown of matched bounties looks like this:
- Update and debug USB stack (Step 2 of 2): £492.24 (with match £984.48)
- ARMv7 code generation from the C compiler: £620.00 (with match £1,240.00)
- Further clipboard support: £980.26 (with match £1,960.52)
- TCP/IP stack overhaul (Step 2 of 4): £2,907.50 (with match £5,815.00)
Of the three currently-open bounties, Further clipboard support is now almost at its target, Update and debug USB stack has exceeded its target and TCP/IP stack overhaul is more than half way to its lofty goal.
Our ARMv7 code generation is now underway, having exceeded its target. More news to come on this…
Thank you again to everyone who contributed!
Well done everyone. It’s always great to see a bounty claimed :)
I’m just echoing Chris’ comments – well done everyone. Great to see financial investment and belief in RISC OS.
RISC OS really is getting better and better all the time. Still plenty to do, but it really is far better than it was 10 years ago.
