COVID-19 update

As I’m sure you are all aware, RISC OS Open places our user and developer community at the very top of our list of priorities. In the light of the current pandemic and the very latest advice from the UK Government, we find ourselves in a position of seeing no alternative but to withdraw from all face-to-face social engagements, such as user group meetings and shows, including the up-coming Wakefield Show.
We understand and appreciate that this could have a measurable effect on those who organise these events. We will be working with other members of the RISC OS community over the coming days and weeks to do what we can to limit the harm these unprecedented circumstances might cause. If you are an organiser of a RISC OS-related event, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Please also be aware that purchases from the ROOL Store may be subject to delays in shipping, notably in airmail, but also via other channels.
There is still every intention within ROOL to push forwards with our plans for RISC OS development and we will continue to post updates on our site as normal. Take care of yourselves and we hope to see the RISC OS social calendar restored as soon as possible!
It is heartening that a RISC OS show is seen as a large social gathering!
Time for a virtual event?
The show has now been officially postponed in light of COVID-19 – no date has yet been announced.
