The first date in the 2024 show calendar is drawing near – pack your suitcase and join RISC OS Open at the South West show on 24th February to catch up on the latest software and hardware developments in the RISC OS world.
Lots to see and do
On the ROOL stand there’ll be the usual buzz of developments in the RISC OS arena including beta releases of apps expected to be great in the future.
In the show theatre hear more about progress on ROOL’s currently running bounties, what users are saying about the next stable release (a release candidate of which is already available), as well as the bigger picture of where RISC OS needs to be to keep lightyears ahead.
Why not choose from a selection of merchandise from our store to take away on the day? We accept wireless payment by card too now.
As if that wasn’t enough, there’s an update to the Desktop Development Environment available before we’ve even set off; DDE31d is an incremental release being sent out to all qualifying developers shortly. You’ll also be able to update on the day and speak to us in person about which projects you’re working on currently.
Venue details
Shows are the perfect opportunity to meet and talk to fellow RISC OS users and developers about what they’re doing with our favourite operating system. The venue itself is centrally located on the Bath Road (if approaching by car) and approximately 1.25 miles from Bristol Temple Meads (the nearest train station).
10:30am – 4pm, Saturday 24th February.
