An ePic reshuffle

ePic is a single SD card combining both the official RISC OS Pi release plus a huge bundle of commercial applications (previously called NutPi) totalling almost £600, had they each been bought individually.
Waving good bye to old friends
If you’re a fan of the popular MoreDesk extension to the Window Manager you’ll be delighted to learn it’s now available at no cost from the author’s website, where previously it appeared on ePic.
And with David Pilling hanging up his coding overalls, the essential compression utility SparkFS is now managed by RISC OS Open and bundled with the base distribution for everyone to use.
Making some new acquaintances
Never get lost around town again with the addition of the OpenStreetMap powered RiscOSM application. Extra map data packs can be downloaded for your particular region of interest.
Roll down the storm shutters when you’re away with LockScreen and its configurable log in prompt.
Try to avoid bumping into too many spirits in spooky game The Haunted Tower Hotel, new to ePic.
Online network filing system CloudFS which talks to the pCloud storage service is also now provided.
Other updates
The Impact database is brought right up to date, and premiere email client Messenger fast forwards to major release 7.
There’s also a special Raspberry Pi edition of the latest Desktop Development Environment for budding developers wanting to write applications of their own…perhaps you’ll be appearing on a future ePic reshuffle?
Buying ePic
Save yourself the effort of tracking down this great selection of applications by getting them all in one stop.
