A new news RSS feed that covers comments in the news pages would be handy.
I’m sure I can’t be the only one that missed Andrew’s comments there on the progress towards fixing the forum.

If you follow the link made from the title of an article in the news headline summary page, or if you follow a “Read more…” link when available, you get to the news article’s dedicated page. This page includes the comments made against the article. Underneath all of the comments is a link entitled “RSS feed for this post” which does exactly what you need.
Some browsers (e.g. Firefox 2) show the orange RSS logo in (say) the browser’s address bar, when a feed is available on the current page. In the case of a news article, this is the feed for just that article, including comments.
