The dialogue box in the Paint menu for adjusting the size of a sprite should allow you to add/remove rows and columns from either edge, rather than just the top and right.

I think the current method is correct. A sprite has a bottom left origin and is added to at the right and the top. Insert/delete rows and columns is there to insert rows/cols at other places including the left and bottom of the sprite. In fact adjust size of sprite is only needed because you can’t insert to the right of the right column or above the top column. The real problem is the accuracy of column/row selection.
Maybe a better solution is for the insert row/col dbox to specify the col/row being acted on in a dbox instead of just relying on the mouse click.
