Wiki Server Fail
Reported by: | Alan Robertson (52) | Severity: | Normal |
Part: | Legacy: I2 (old Wiki) | Release: | |
Milestone: | Status | Fixed |
Details by Alan Robertson (52):
When uploading/updating pages in the wiki, that on occasion, the server stop working and this results in more updates until the server has been rebooted(I presume).
Within 24hrs the server is always up and running again, so its not a showstopper – just annoying when it happens.
I am unsure what the cause of the server failing is. Sorry.

- Severity changed from Minor to Normal
Just thought I’d upgrade the severity from minor to Normal, as it is stopping me from uploading a lot documentation to the wiki. Having to wait 24 hours until i can start again is rather frustrating. And then, of course its just a matter of time before it goes down again.
I still do not know the exact cause. It can go down by either:
a) Trying to save a change to a file
b) Tring to open a file to edit

Noted and not ignored despite the lack of activity on this! Sorry for the lack of response so far.

- Status changed from Open to Fixed
The March 2011 upgrades everything to Instiki 0.9.1, hopefully fixing the reliability problems we were seeing with I2. If you still have trouble, please file a new ticket for Instiki. Thanks!
