PInboard iconise behaviour broken
Reported by: | Rik Griffin (98) | Severity: | Minor |
Part: | RISC OS: Module | Release: | |
Milestone: | Status | WorksForMe |
Details by Rik Griffin (98):
Put the pinboard into “iconise to icon bar” mode.
Enable iconise buttons on windows.
Now, clicking the iconise button on a window will (as expected) put that window’s icon onto the icon bar.
Shift clicking on a window’s close icon will put the window’s icon onto the pinboard. I am not sure if this is the intended behaviour but I find it useful.
However – open two windows. Iconise one of them to the icon bar by clicking the iconise button. Send the second window to the pinboard by shift clicking its close button.
Now, click the first window’s icon on the icon bar – the second window is uniconised, and the icon remains on the icon bar. Clicking the icon again restores the correct window.

The shift click question: yes, this behaviour is intentional.
Can’t reproduce the fault here in Pinboard 0.88.
