Some parts of the website still say 'Downloads' instead of 'Software'
Reported by: | Jeffrey Lee (213) | Severity: | Normal |
Part: | Web site: General (miscellaneous issues) | Release: | |
Milestone: | Status | Fixed |
Details by Jeffrey Lee (213):
Here’s the ones I’ve found so far:
- Main news page
- News comments
- Login page
- All the account management pages in /hub seem to say ‘Downloads’ too

On a (slightly) related note (unless this issue is separate from the recent page amedments), 3 of the 4 single merged-together archives (under ‘Source code summary’ at Source code archives) seem to be broken links.
- Tungsten is OK
- The others are broken
- Removing
content/downloads/
from the URL doesn’t help. - There seems to be some inconsistency in use of the ‘
-dev
’ part of the filename.
- Removing
- Obviously, they’re all available under the subsequent ‘Source code archives (rebuilt daily)’ section, so it’s not a major issue – just a little confusing.

Trevor, please could you file that in a separate bug report if it’s still relevant? Thanks.
Regarding the original bug – this was a cache issue. The recent web site upgrade clears it all out so everything’s consistent now.
