"Recent activity" indicators wrong on forum index

Details by Ben Avison (25):
I’ve recently noticed that often the “recent activity” indicator is wrong in the forum index – it indicates no recent activity when there are posts I haven’t read.
I think I may have spotted the reason why – this seems to happen for forums that have sticky topics, and when the topic at the top of the list (which is a sticky topic if there are any) has had no recent activity, but there has been recent activity in a non-sticky topic.
Before sticky topics were introduced, the fact that the topic at the top of the list had recent activity was enough to deduce that the whole forum had recent activity – this is no longer true.

Confirmed. Not sure when I’ll get the chance to look at this though, but it’s quite a significant problem… I wondered why the forums had been so quiet! It wouldn’t be so bad, except the “last posted” date/person information given in the forum index is wrong too, since it looks like it takes that from the topmost sticky item too.
