Ticket #441 (Fixed)Wed Nov 01 12:06:27 UTC 2017
DST flag set incorrectly with ROMs after 10/10/2017 and RTC
Reported by: | Martin Avison (27) | Severity: | Major |
Part: | RISC OS: Module | Release: | |
Milestone: | Status | Fixed |
Details by Martin Avison (27):
Machines which have all of…
- a Real Time Clock fitted
- a ROM later than 10th October
- Auto DST configured
seem to have the DST flag set incorrectly.
This affects those with fixed RTC (eg Iyonix) and a removable CJE RTC fitted (eg RPi).
SWI “Territory_DaylightSaving”,-1,5 correctly gives “01:00:00 29-Oct-2017” as the end of DST. I can see no obvious culprits in recent CVS changes, but there were a lot of module initialisation changes.

- Part changed from Unspecified to RISC OS: Module
Notably, research in the linked thread has narrowed down the breakage to between the 8th and 10th of September, which would mean it’s most likely the result of one of the following two changes:
