Ticket #48 (WorksForMe)Tue Aug 15 17:39:38 UTC 2006
Radiant cache flush should be automatic
Reported by: | Andrew | Severity: | Minor |
Part: | Web site: Radiant (non-editable pages) | Release: | |
Milestone: | Status | WorksForMe |
Details by Andrew:
It’s irritating editing pages in Radiant and having to manually flush the cache or wait for an internal timeout. Radiant does seem to flush its cache for certain operations but page part editing, oddly, does not seem to be one of them (or it’s trying but the flush operation is failing for some reason).
Not assigned to a specific Web site release since this affects the back-end anyway and is easy to work around (just flush the cache directly using the button below the list of pages in the page view).

- Status changed from Open to WorksForMe
Central upgrade to Rails 1.1.6 – cache flushing is working properly now. It may have been a Rails bug or due to some stale config data kicking around. Not happy at having no real answer to the problem so changing status to “WorksForMe” rather than “Fixed” for the time being.
