The discussion in the thread linked below made me realise that although the compiler manual lists some of the predefined macros, there are a few useful ones which are undocumented: __riscos, __acorn, and __arm.

When I saw that thread I also reached for the manual to get the page reference, only to find…it’s not in the manual. Doh!
I emailed manuals@ to add it to the list of stuff for the next edition.

And the reason I said ’don’t quote me’ in that thread was because I couldn’t find it in the manual :)

DDE30 manual now mentions __riscos and __arm. No mention of __acorn, but the CC changelog in DDE29c did mention that that one was deprecated.
