Raspberry Pi Keyboard Setup
Reported by: | GavinWraith (26) | Severity: | Normal |
Part: | RISC OS: Application | Release: | |
Milestone: | Status | Invalid |
Details by GavinWraith (26):
Clicking Keyboard in the configuration page brings up error message "Keyboard Setup may have gone wrong. ‘Describe’ reports “Invalid Component ID (0×14)”. I am using a Raspberry Pi keyboard (Rpi3B+) with RO 5.27 (06-Feb-20) @RISC OS Developments Ltd, 2018. I am using this OS as a temporary backup after the Font Manager in RO 5.28 crashed after an injudicious experiment, leaving me with no way to extract myself except to switch off, which I think trashed the SD-card. I am awaiting a delivery of some more SD cards.

Same behaviour with my faithful old Logitek K260. So probably nothing to do with the keyboard but a USB problem. Where does the Keyboard configuration data get saved to?
