fat32fs bug
Reported by: | Chris Hall (132) | Severity: | Normal |
Part: | RISC OS: Module | Release: | |
Milestone: | Status | WontFix |
Details by Chris Hall (132):
If I insert a 32MB USB pen drive (which I think is FAT16 formatted) and open a RISC OS filer window by clicking on the drive icon, it opens a filer window titled fat32fs::DISK.$ – if I try to copy files out of this it hangs.
If I do a Filer_OpenDir SCSI::0.$ a filer window SCSI::0.$ opens showing identical contents and I can copy files out of this with no problem.
Is there a way of clicking on an icon bar icon for a pen drive to say ‘please open using SCSI not fat32fs’? It is not something that can be done with SELECT/ADJUST click which is to open different partitions on the same drive.

I suggest reporting this to the author, rather than here, since ROOL don’t host or manage the Fat32Fs code.
