Ticket #603 (Fixed)Tue Jun 06 21:28:08 UTC 2023
The low resolution sprites in the Morris4 theme lack important icons
Reported by: | Cameron Cawley (3514) | Severity: | Normal |
Part: | RISC OS: Boot sequence | Release: | |
Milestone: | Status | Fixed |
Details by Cameron Cawley (3514):
In the Morris4 theme, the Sprites file has fewer icons than the Sprites22 file. This notably lacks the taskmanager icon, which means that:
- If theme sprites are unprotected and a low resolution mode is selected after entering the desktop, the task manager will used a downscaled version of the Sprites22 icon.
- If theme sprites are protected and a low resolution mode is selected after entering the desktop, the task manager icon will end up blank, but still work.
- If theme sprites are unprotected and RISC OS is booting into a low resolution mode, the task manager will use the ROM sprites instead of the themed ones.
- If theme sprites are protected and RISC OS is booting into a low resolution mode, the task manager will crash on startup with the error “Sprite doesn’t exist”.
