Paint: file import bugs
Reported by: | Fred Graute (114) | Severity: | Normal |
Part: | RISC OS: Application | Release: | |
Milestone: | Status | Fixed |
Details by Fred Graute (114):
Create a new SpriteFile and inside it a new sprite. The SpriteFile is marked as changed and when it’s closed, a save dialogue box pops up. All as you’d expect.
Now create a new SpriteFile and inside it a new sprite, then drag an existing SpriteFile into it. This creates two problems.
The SpriteFile takes on the title of the file dragged in. So if you save it, it will be written over the file dragged in, which is probably not what was intended.
Also, the SpriteFile will be marked as unchanged so when you close it no save dialogue box will be opened. The SpriteFile will simply be discarded and one will lose any work done.
Another problem occurs when you drag in the file and the display is set to ‘Full sprite details’. The window’s work area is not resized and the added sprites can’t be accessed. You need to change the display type to make them visible.
