CDFS rejects volume IDs containing brackets
Reported by: | Cameron Cawley (3514) | Severity: | Normal |
Part: | RISC OS: General | Release: | |
Milestone: | Status | Open |
Details by Cameron Cawley (3514):
Despite not technically being compliant to the ISO 9660 specifications, some CDs contain ‘(’ and ‘)’ characters in the volume ID, which Windows accepts but RISC OS currently rejects. That said, there is already precedence for supporting non-standard slashes and hyphens in volume names, so it would be good to support brackets as well.
